Tanya Gertrude Vanderflock
Number: 23
Position: Defense (Left)
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Shoots: N/A
Tanya is the team's resident science and technology expert. She has a staggering knowlege of computers, and is responsible for much of the equiptment that the team uses, including the supercomputer Drake 1, as well as several vehicles and weapons. Although she was homesick for Puckworld when she first arrived on Earth, Tanya has found friends in several fellow scientists, and has settled in. With her occasional stuttering and allergies, it may be easy to pass her off as a harmless nerd. But Tanya has a socialite's sense of humor, as well as decent combat skills.
Tanya's prize weapon is actually a tool kit. The Omnitool is the ultimate form of a pocket knife, sealed onto her right wrist. This multifunctional device not only has anything she would need for a quick fix-up, but possesses a laser, a sonic metal cutter, and a small onboard computer. In addition to the Omnitool, she keeps a pucklauncher in a holster on her belt, and is an average shot with it.
Much like she takes care of the team's equiptment, Tanya is also a maintinance worker on the ice. Preferring to work the left side of the defensive end, Tanya is quick to give any opposing forwards a check against the boards. Leaning towards offensive defense with her surprisingly powerful shot, she will often get involved with plays made by the the team's forwards.
April Winchell on voicing Tanya: "I think Tanya always has a cold or terrible allergies, so I speak mostly in my nose and head. She also stutters a little bit, which I think is due to her brain going so fast. Tanya thinks faster than she speaks, and I speak faster than I think."
