                Majzq (pronounced "mask") has the strangest name of anyone you'll meet. He

was Jamel Thompson, a troubled San Diego youth who had compiled a lengthy

police record by the time he was 15, and was convicted of first-degree murder

before his 22nd birthday. But as a surprise, instead of the death penalty, he

was shipped off  to Washington to be the subject of a government test to

create a new super-species. A chemical accident during testing put him in the

hospital, and he mutated into a half-raccoon within a few weeks. After three

months of painful tests that boosted his muscle mass, adrenaline, and

metabolism by 75%, he broke out of his "prison" and escaped from the

compound, slowly working his way across the country and meeting up with

Quacker Jax upon his return to southern California. He became QJ's friend

when he helped keep him on the straight and narrow. Majzq sometimes breaks

down and cries because he knows he'll never be able to go back to San Diego

to see his friends and family due to his mutation.
